We implement sites that are easy for the non-web-expert user to manage and keep up-to-date themselves. These sites are very affordable because the needed functionality is already written. Some available features are Announcements, Forums, FAQ, Download Areas, easy-to-build Web Links, an Event Calendar, a Photo Gallery, and Newspaper Headlines.
    Every member can be given their own id and password by uploading existing membership lists in Excell format or by allowing online registration. Areas of the site can be restricted to members only. Membership sites are implemented using the PHP-nuke content management system. PHPnuke is available for free at phpnuke.org. This site you are on, Open Sky Web Design, is an example of a site that uses a CMS (Content Management System).

      Artists and Crafts people require a really good way to showcase their portfolio that is easy for them to update and maintain. The Gallery software (shareware) works very well for this purpose and these web galleries display artists' work beautifully.
      Our own software has been used to automate the use of PayPal with the Gallery software for these sites
      Musicians use the Gallery to keep their fans supplied with new photos.

      Bridge Clubs like to have daily game results online. We also provide shareware to allow online pair summaries to be retreived from the resuts sheets.
      Other features that can be included are online partnership desks, photo galleries, and announcements easily updated from any browser.

    The web sites in this section range from two page sites to sites developed from templates. Using a pre-made template lowers the costs of making a web site considerably and we can do a little customization to make it unique.
